Code of Conduct

We believe everyone deserves access to the tools and support that empower personal and professional growth. At Reframed Coaching, we're committed to creating accessible and welcoming experiences for all. We acknowledge our privileges and actively try to foster a culture of inclusivity and equity.

This commitment translates into several key actions:

Every space within Reframed Coaching, including corporate workshops, live events, online programs, and community chat groups, operates under a set of guidelines. These rules apply to all participants, including coaching clients, attendees, participants, guest speakers, guest coaches, and team members. Everyone must read and adhere to these rules to participate in our programs and services.

Ground Rules

During the diagnostic and commitment letter review, you will be asked about any accommodations you may need. We will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Commitment to Accessibility

Reframed Coaching is committed to providing a safe and psychologically safe experience for everyone. Harassment and prejudice in any form will not be tolerated.

  • Don’t be rude and don’t be a bigot. This includes discriminatory remarks about profession, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, neurotype, political affiliation, age, body size, or other personal characteristics. This includes deliberate misgendering.

  • Don’t insult. Insulting remarks include opinions about a person’s lifestyle practices.

  • Do not reveal confidential and private information about other participants without explicit permission. Publication of non-harassing private communication without consent will be grounds for removal from any program. Publishing others’ private information, such as their information, chat messages, and email address, without their explicit permission will not be tolerated.

  • Don’t intimidate. Threats of violence or intimidation will not be tolerated.

  • Don’t creep. Unwanted sexual attention will not be tolerated. This includes sustained interruptions, sexual images or inappropriate behavior in spaces, unwanted sexual attention, or inappropriate content.

  • Don’t inflame. We ask that victims of harassment not address their grievances in the public forum, as this often intensifies the problem. Report it to us, and let us address it off-line please.

  • Don’t disrupt others during classroom and workshop discussions.

  • Don’t harass. This covers unwanted comments about lifestyle choices, unwelcome physical contact, deliberate misgendering, threats, stalking, outing someone's identity, or sharing private information without consent.

Commitment to Safe Spaces and Inclusivity

We expect participants in our spaces to conduct themselves professionally. Since our primary mode of communication is during live sessions and in our community chats, we ask that participants take on these expected behaviors at all times:

  • Respect each other. We expect occasional healthy disagreements during the sessions or in our after hours channel. Ask, explore, challenge, and then respectfully state if you agree or disagree. If your idea is rejected, be more persuasive, not bitter.

  • Be kind. We are all at different levels of growth and we need to engage kindly.

  • Consider your impact on others. We expect community members to be considerate and establish a balance between self-interest with communal interest.

  • Use words carefully. We may not understand intent when you say something ironic. Often, people may misinterpret sarcasm.

Commitment to Respect

All information shared at Reframed Coaching experiences are private unless stated otherwise.

Respect others' privacy and confidentiality. Do not repeat or repost anything shared in our safe spaces.

Protect all IP or legally protected information you’re not able to safely disclose. Sessions will not be recorded without explicit consent from all parties.

Commitment to Privacy

Reframed Coaching experiences are not for any other commercial activities unless explicitly expected. While you can mention your business or services in relevant contexts, we ask that you avoid pitching or selling. You may invite others to follow up privately if they express interest.

A direct message ("DM") is a private message to one or more other participants. Sending a DM to another participant you don't know might be jarring for the receiver. Before sending a DM to a member you've never contacted, consider the following:

Is it obvious to the other participants why I am contacting them privately? If not, should I provide context, like a public message?

Could this message be considered unsolicited spam? If so, should you be sending it?

Unsolicited DMs are likely Code of Conduct violations, especially with a commercial flavor.

Emailing other participants with unsolicited commercial offers based on information acquired within the community is a Code of Conduct violation.

Aggressive message spamming is cause for automatic removal from the program.

In our community chats, specific channels may be designated for promotions, job postings, and sharing personal projects. Engage in these spaces respectfully and appropriately.

Commitment to Non-Solicitation

Participants asked to stop any behavior are expected to comply immediately. Failure to do so may cause sanctions or expulsion from Reframed Coaching experiences, without a refund, at our discretion.

Consequences

If you experience or witness harassment, or have any other concerns, please contact us. We would rather hear too soon than too late. You can reach us via email at alice@strengthsforteams.com. For live events, please contact any member of our staff. Our team will be identified at the beginning of each event and trained in addressing and reporting incidents.

Reporting and Enforcement

We respect everyone’s right to participate in political expression and activism, but we avoid having disrespectful political debates during our live experiences and in our community chats.

You agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct by participating in Reframed Coaching experiences. Let's work together to create a supportive, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone.
