Practical leadership coaching for the humans behind the job titles.

There are thousands of qualified coaches around the world. More than 55,000 coaches now hold an ICF credential, and Gallup’s CliftonStrengths® network continues to grow across industries, organizations and leadership levels.

But credentials alone are not what make coaching effective.

What matters is finding someone who can help you make sense of the real challenges you’re facing, communicate more clearly, build healthier habits and actually make progress.

Meet your coach.

Alice Ko is an ICF-certified leadership coach, Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths Coach, and the founder of Reframed Coaching.

With more than 20 years of executive leadership and advisory experience across finance, marketing and operations, Alice works at the intersection of human potential and operational performance.

Through her unique methodology — which is grounded in the principles of strengths-based psychology, hats-based management, and systems and design thinking — Alice helps leaders unlock their natural strengths and develop workplaces where purpose and performance not only drive meaningful outcomes for teams, but for the cultures and communities they influence.

From CPA to Marketer to Leadership Coach.

Alice began her career at KPMG and trained as a CPA in audit and compliance, where she developed a disciplined foundation in financial oversight and organizational accountability. From there, she moved into leadership roles at various global B2C and B2B brands, operating at the intersection between brand, RevOps and people leadership.

She later transitioned into the world of ecommerce and digital marketing, serving as a three-time Marketing Director before founding Pivot Six, a marketing consultancy.

Alice’s different roles and workplaces include:

➜ Finance at Aritzia, Rémy Martin, and Louis Vuitton

➜ CPA at global consulting firm KPMG

➜ 3x Marketing Director at VC-funded fintech startups

➜ Marketer team member at 3 acquired startups (Wantering, Spacio, Tunezy)

➜ Agencies like Ricciardi Group, Briteweb, and JAR Audio

➜ Industry-leading brands like Girlboss, Lukka, and LRN

➜ Government agencies like City of Vancouver and the Government of Canada

➜ Nonprofits like Ballet BC and ArtStarts

This breadth of experience shaped Alice’s hands-on and human-centric approach to leadership development. In 2020, she founded Reframed Coaching, a leadership coaching and development consultancy that equips executive teams with the tools, language and operational systems needed to develop healthy and high-performing workplaces.

Leadership coaching shaped by 20+ years inside real organizations.

What differentiates Alice’s approach to coaching is that she has lived the pressures she now helps leaders navigate. She understands exactly what it takes to develop winning cultures rooted in trust, clarity and accountability, and she knows firsthand the bottom-line costs that come from leadership misalignment or unclear communication. Known for creating psychologically safe environments where even skeptical leaders engage deeply, Alice balances analytical rigor with empathy, striving to deliver on a simple promise:

To equip leaders with clarity, self-awareness and practical tools so that both people and performance can thrive.

Specialism: Leadership coaching and operations consulting

Grounded in the principles of Gallup’s CliftonStrengths Assessment, Alice’s unique methodology helps leaders understand how they are wired to think, influence, execute and build relationships with individuals, and how those patterns show up under pressure.

  • “I'm not sure how fast-growing organizations try to keep up without the expertise of people like Alice and Bonnie. If you, your teams, and your company don't have the building blocks right, don't have a common language to communicate the tough stuff and to solve problems together then the big hairy audacious goals you are chasing down will always be out of reach because the friction in trying to reach them -- of people talking past each other instead of with -- will distract from the main outcome.”

  • “When I heard about CliftonStrengths, I must admit I was skeptical at first. But when I saw the results, I was totally blown away! It helped our team visualize where our strengths and weaknesses were in a way that I never thought possible. Alice Ko at Reframed Coaching was an absolute pleasure to work with! She made the process of identifying each of our Clifton Strengths a fun and exciting journey. She was very patient and flexible as we worked through the process together. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking to build high performance teams!”

  • “This was the best use of 90 mins in the past 18 months! Thank you SO much for an enlightening experience. I already found CliftonStrengths to be impactful as an individual, but bringing them together as a group takes things to a whole new level. And the facilitation of understanding is a game changer .... I think there will be a lot of power in the empathy and shared awareness that comes out of this session. Incredibly well organized and executed. I enjoyed the moments for reflection and discussion, and facilitation of understanding by Alice ... the ability to really question what does this mean? How do I use this?, and talk through it.”

What people are saying

So… Why me?

I didn’t start as a coach

I became a coach as a result of my 20+ years of experience working as a CPA, marketer, agency founder, and functional leader — not just a coach. I’ve experienced the same functional and interpersonal challenges that most individual contributors, managers, and leaders have. I understand the theory and how to actively apply it at work.

I’ve worked in different roles and can relate to you

I’ve worked as an individual contributor, managed massive teams, run an agency, and played about every position you can imagine as I’ve moved from team to team. Understanding how people operate differently has been crucial to my success in my varied career.

I have on-the-ground experience across many industries and teams

Where I learned how to tackle different problems. While working in-house, in consulting, and agency, nonprofit, startup, and corporate scenes, I played a role on 100+ different teams and worked with over 1200+ unique Strengths profiles.

I understand different generations

I’ve lived, worked, and moved between cities including Vancouver, Medellín, New York, London, and Beijing. I’ve worked with Gen Z, Gen Y (that’s me!), Gen X, and Baby Boomers. I understand the differences in generational working styles — and how to navigate these differences successfully.

I have extensive experience working remotely

After more than 14 years of working remotely, I understand how to iron out kinks and improve productivity with subtle — yet super powerful — shifts even among long-distance teams.

Are we a fit?

I’m not the only coach you could work with — but I invite you to ask yourself these key questions to see if we’re a fit.

Do you want a coach who has hands-on experience working in and managing teams?

Do you want an accredited coach who follows ethical standards but who also gives real talk?

Do you want a coach who is empathetic and is known for creating safe spaces?

Your answers to these questions will help you decide if I’m the right fit for you and your team.

Summing Up Strength-Based Coaching

As a Gallup-certified coach, I help teams reach their full potential with CliftonStrengths® methodology. Haven’t heard of it? Here’s a quick breakdown of what it’s all about.

By taking the time to assess team members individually, we can harness their talents and maximize their potential as members of high-performing teams.

Gallup sums this up with a formula that looks like this:

Talent x Investment = Strength

Let’s take a closer look.

According to the CliftonStrengths® formula, a talent is “a natural way of thinking, feeling or behaving” and, when we invest in those innate tendencies, they become strengths we’d be foolish to overlook professionally.

What’s the result of this kind of approach?
An empowered team that performs damn near perfectly.

A strengths-based approach to leadership and development doesn’t just improve the efficiency of working teams.

Here are a few of the other perks comopanies see when they apply this methodology:

For Workers

+ Increased engagement
+ A better working experience
+ Greater professional fulfillment
+ Boosted confidence

For Businesses

+ Increased sales
+ Higher profits
+ Lower attrition
+ Improved performance

*As of November 2025, there are 34,000 CliftonStrengths coaches across 106 countries.

**As of September 2025, there are over 29,000 Associate Certified Coaches (ACC) worldwide.

Sound like perks you could get behind?

If progress feels stalled or your team isn’t pulling in the same direction, it’s time for a reset. We can help you lead it!
